Season after season, farmers are faced with the challenge of weed control. Now, there’s a new tool in the toolbox ready to combat those challenges.
XtendFlex® soybeans (expected soon) are a soybean trait technology that’s also the first to have triple-stacked tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate. It will provide farmers with greater application flexibility, pre-emergence or postemergence, and will manage tough-to-control weeds such as waterhemp, Palmer amaranth and marestail. Being able to successfully fight more challenging weeds means soybeans can grow strong and reach their full yield potential.
In the last two seasons, XtendFlex® soybeans (expected soon) have been tested in fields across the Midwest, the Delta regions and southeast U.S. The trial plots on southern Illinois farmer Brian Prest’s operation have surpassed his expectations. “My Ground Breakers® plot is spotless. I don’t have to brag on them because they look very good. I’m very excited about a couple of the numbers that are in there and I think they’re going to work very well on my farm,” said Prest
