We're dedicated to your success, especially when unforeseen events affect your crops.  As a DEKALB®, Asgrow® and Deltapine® farmer, you're eligible to receive many risk sharing benefits. 

Crop Replant Assistance

Crop replant assistance is offered to aid growers when products fail due to natural causes including flooding, frost, soil crusting, and bird or animal feeding.

Below find a few PDFs that further explain the eligibility, requirements and conditions for our replant, crop loss and drought coverage programs.

  • Corn, Soybeans, Cotton, Sorghum and Spring Canola: Final claims submission is July 31, 2018

  • Winter Canola: Final claims submission is January 16, 2019

  • Claims will only be valid within 60 days of planting, or by May 15, 2018 for fall-seeded stands

  • Replant units are not eligible for other program payments

  • Replant units must be planted in the same crop year as the lost crop and in place of the lost crop on the farm for which the replant refund is claimed

2018 Coastal Replant Program
  • Corn, Soybeans, Cotton, Sorghum and Spring Canola: Final claims submission is July 31, 2018

  • Winter Canola: Final claims submission is January 16, 2019

2018 Cotton Crop Loss and Drought Relief - Zones D & E

Crop Loss Program Conditions

  • Program valid only for the 2018 crop year in Bayer’s published Seed Drop Rate Zone D and E

  • Final submission for Crop Loss claims in Zone D is July 31, 2018, and for Zone E is August 14, 2018

  • Only Deltapine® varieties that are lost within 60 days of planting are eligible for Cotton Crop Loss

  • Stand reductions and/or yield loss after the first 60 days due to conditions or perils such as disease, pests, hail, etc. shall not be covered under a Crop Loss claim

  • Verified cotton crop loss: Grower invoiced at 65% of Suggested Retail Price

Drought Relief Program Conditions
  • Program valid only for the 2018 crop year in Bayer’s published Seed Drop Rate Zone D and E

  • Final submission for Drought Relief claims in Zone D is November 6, 2018, and for Zone E is January 8, 2019

  • Program applies only to crop losses and/or specified yield reductions on acres planted with qualifying Deltapine® varieties and incurred due to drought conditions on certified dryland cotton acres. Losses or reductions due to other conditions or perils, such as diseases, pests, hail, etc., are not eligible

  • The cotton crop is considered a loss if the actual or estimated lint yield is less than 175 lbs. Per land acre due to drought on certified dryland cotton acres. Grower must provide proof of Federal Crop Insurance claim of an estimated yield less than 175 lbs. of lint per acre and drought is the primary cause contributing to 50% or greater of the claim damage under the Multiple Peril Crop Insurance coverage for the affected areas.
